Nuphar Pumilum is years of aquatic herb; Rhizomes 2-3 cm in diameter. Leaves papery, ovate or ovate, wide minority elliptic, 6 to 17 cm long, 6 to 12 cm wide, apex obtuse, base with a sinus, cordate,
lobes, obtuse, light above, glabrous, densely pilose below, lateral veins pinnate, several dichasial branched; Petiole 20 to 50 cm, pilose.
Flowers 3-4 cm in diam.; Pedicels 40 to 50 cm, with soft hairs; Sepals yellow, outside the central green, oblong or elliptic, 1-2 cm long; Petals narrowly cuneate, 5 to 7 mm long, apex slightly concave; Stigma plate often 10 shallow crack, light yellow or red. Berry ovoid, ca. 3 cm long; Seeds oblong, 5 mm long, brown. Flowering in July 5 -, fruiting 7-9 months.
